Baghdad Messi is the Story of Hammoudi, a young boy passionate football fan. In an attack on a military convoy during the US embargo he loses one of his legs. Moving from Baghdad to a countryside village, he struggles to find his place among the youth, pushing him to set of on a dangerous adventure. Inspired by the award-winning short film Baghdad Messi (2012) starring Hayder Helo.
